Great to meet you!

My approach is collaborative, creative, and grounded in body awareness and compassion. I’m a licensed, board‐certified Art Therapist with training in somatic and sex therapy. My work is culturally responsive and affirming, especially of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC identities. I’m passionate about helping people heal from shame, body disconnection, and identity‐related challenges, and about supporting couples navigating differences in desire and intimacy. My background in art therapy shapes sessions that often weave creativity, expression, and the body as pathways toward healing. I hope that therapy can offer you a deeper sense of belonging. You can learn more about my practice at natalieafranco.com.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a creative, embodied, and relationship-centered approach to therapy. Our work moves beyond talk therapy into experiences that invite creativity, movement, and body awareness. I take a culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and sex-positive stance, rooted in nervous system awareness and compassion. I honor the unique intersections of identity, including culture, race, gender, and sexuality, and view healing as both personal and collective. Whether you’re exploring desire, navigating relationship challenges, or healing from shame and disconnection, I intend to create a space where you feel safe, curious, and connected to your full humanity.

What you can expect from me

I deeply value and respect each client as they navigate their therapeutic journey. Recognizing that therapy can feel complex and unfamiliar, I create a space where you can take the time you need to feel comfortable. My approach emphasizes transparency, trust, autonomy, and open communication, ensuring that you feel supported and empowered throughout your healing process.
