Great to meet you!

I am a Clinical Social Worker and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. Since 2006 I have worked in community mental health, medical social work and private practice settings. As my experience and training has progressed, I have specialized in treating disordered eating, adults with chronic medical conditions and mood disorders.

My approach to therapy

I help adults who struggle with trauma, disordered eating (including persistent binge eating after GLP‐1 use or weight‐loss surgery), and chronic illness find lasting relief through psychodynamic psychotherapy. I offer trauma‐informed care that focuses on understanding underlying emotional patterns, body‐image struggles, and medical‐psychological interactions to reduce bingeing and improve quality of life.

We will explore how chronic illness, medical treatments, loss, and life transitions affect mood, appetite, and self‐care. I specialize in complex, co‐occurring presentations and offer a nonjudgmental space for work aimed at deeper symptom relief and improved quality of life.

What you can expect from me

If you’re ready to move beyond surface coping and want a therapist who combines therapuetic insight with practical support, I’d be glad to talk. Reach out to schedule a consultation. After our consultation, your first session will be a thorough intake to identify what is bringing you to therapy.
