Great to meet you!

I deeply enjoy challenging and deconstructing all flavors of shame and taboo. I work with clients to notice, give attention, and slow down when our culture encourages us to ignore, distract, and speed up. By thoughtfully exploring family patterns and our ways of being in relationship, we can come to intriguing conclusions about ourselves and others. I work with people ages 17+, and I see clients individually, as families, as sibling groups, and in all configurations of romantic relationships.

My approach to therapy

I encourage clients to embrace levity - internally, externally, and exponentially. Rather than pursuing “happiness”, we will nurture meaning and purpose. We will celebrate pleasures and triumphs, large and small. We will think about expansion, growth, movement, and shifting rather than "change". We will seek and embrace depth.

What you can expect from me

I believe strongly in the healing power of community, self-compassion, and authenticity; therapy can help us cultivate all of these. While some of the most therapeutic creatures we can surround ourselves with are not human, a relationship with the right human therapist can be transformative during times of crisis, transition, doubt, setbacks, and hardship.
