Great to meet you!

My name is Dr. Natalie Itkin, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist—and someone who deeply believes that healing happens in the context of connection. Whether you’re sitting with uncertainty, carrying invisible wounds, or feeling stuck between who you’ve been and who you want to become, I create a space where you can lay it all down and just be—without judgment, pressure, or pretense.

My work is grounded in both evidence-based practice and a deep respect for the uniqueness of your story. I blend structured approaches like CBT with insight-oriented and relational work, because no two paths to healing look the same. Therapy with me is collaborative, curious, sometimes challenging, often illuminating, and always human. I’ve always been fascinated by the ways we protect ourselves, the stories we tell to survive, and the quiet courage it takes to change. That fascination turned into a calling—and that calling became my life’s work.

If you’re ready to explore what’s been holding you back—or even if you’re not quite sure what you need—I’ll meet you where you are. Therapy isn’t about having the right words. It’s about showing up. And if you’re here, you’ve already done that.

My approach to therapy

At the heart of my work is a deep respect for your lived experience. I practice from a client-centered foundation, which means I believe you are the expert on your own life—and that healing unfolds best in a space where you feel safe, seen, and truly heard.

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into our work together because I’ve seen how powerful it can be in helping people understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT offers practical tools to help you shift patterns that no longer serve you, while also making room for self-compassion and flexibility.

But therapy isn’t just about tools or strategies—it’s about relationship. I aim to create a warm, collaborative space where we can be curious together: about what hurts, about what’s possible, and about who you are becoming. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and a steady belief in your capacity for growth.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to start. You just have to be willing to begin.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is a space where you can be honest, even when it’s hard—especially when it’s hard. My hope is that each session leaves you feeling a little more understood, a little more empowered, and a little more connected to yourself.

Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and work toward developing practical tools to help you navigate life with more clarity, intention, and self-compassion. You can expect a balance of thoughtful reflection and actionable strategies, offered at a pace that feels right for you.

Over time, you may find that your inner critic softens, that your responses to stress begin to shift, and that you start to feel more grounded in your decisions and relationships. But just as importantly, you’ll be reminded—session by session—that you don’t have to go through it alone.

What you take away won’t be a one-size-fits-all answer. It will be something deeply personal, shaped by your goals, your growth, and your voice in the process.
