Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complex intersection of physical and mental health. My professional journey is rooted in a strong educational foundation, holding an undergraduate degree in Community Health and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with both men and women facing diverse challenges, including:

  • Mental Health: Specializing in the treatment of depression and anxiety.
  • Trauma & Relationships: Supporting clients as they heal from childhood trauma and resolve complex interpersonal issues.
  • Recovery: Providing clinical guidance for those managing substance use disorders.

My approach is informed by over two decades of witnessing the resilience of the human spirit. I strive to create a relatable, supportive environment where you feel understood as we work together toward your overall mental and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My journey into mental health began with a deep seated desire to support individuals whose struggles prevent them from experiencing a high quality of life. Seeing how deeply personally challenges can hinder one's ability to thrive inspired me to become a mental health therapist. Today my work is driven by the conviction that everyone deserves to live a fulfilling, balanced life, regardless of the obstacles they face. I am fueled by the passion to empower my clients, helping them navigate their darkest moments so they can reclaim their well-being and rediscover a sense of purpose and joy.

What you can expect from me

In my practice. I take the greatest pride in my ability to foster a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel an immediate sense of comfort and security. I believe that the foundation of all clinical progress is a genuine human connection, which I cultivate through a deeply empathetic and compassionate approach to care. By truly hearing my clients' stories and validating their lived experiences, I am able to build trust necessary for them to explore their most vulnerable challenges. Beyond providing a supportive ear, I am dedicated to an empowering style of therapy. From the first session until the last, I work collaboratively with my clients to help them recognize their inherent strengths and rediscover their autonomy in their lives. This balance of warmth, and empowerment ensures that my clients feel both deeply understood and capable of achieving meaningful lasting change and reach their goals.
