Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Natalie, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping individuals, couples, children, and families feel more connected, understood, and supported through life’s challenges.

Over the past 10 years working in the mental health field — including 5 years providing therapy — I’ve worked in a variety of settings providing crisis services, trauma-focused support, and ongoing therapy for individuals and families with diverse needs. These experiences have strengthened my belief that healing happens best in spaces where people feel emotionally safe, genuinely seen, and never judged.

I work with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional disconnection, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and family or parenting challenges. In couples work, I help partners better understand the patterns and cycles they can get stuck in, improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in attachment-based work, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and trauma-informed care. I am also EMDR-trained and have extensive experience helping clients process trauma, navigate emotional overwhelm, and work through difficult life experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is typically focused on exploring what brings you to therapy, discussing your current concerns, and learning more about your personal history, relationships, and goals for treatment. I also like to leave room for clients to ask questions and get a feel for whether we are a good fit working together.

My style is collaborative, genuine, and conversational. While we may discuss difficult experiences or emotions, sessions do not have to feel overly clinical or heavy the entire time. I naturally incorporate warmth, humor, and authenticity into the therapeutic process when appropriate, while still creating space for meaningful emotional work and growth.
