Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Natalie Mena, LCSW-R, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in New York, New Jersey, Texas, and Florida, with 15 years of clinical experience. I provide trauma-informed, relational therapy to adults and athletes navigating anxiety, depression, identity concerns, life transitions, and relational stress. As a Latina clinician, educator, and mental-health consultant, I bring a culturally responsive lens to help clients understand patterns shaped by trauma, culture, and high-performance environments—so they can build resilience, clarity, and a more grounded sense of self.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative. I help adults and athletes explore how past experiences, relational patterns, and internalized beliefs shape their present lives. Together, we work to bring awareness to both conscious and unconscious processes, strengthen emotional insight, and develop healthier ways of relating to self and others. If you’re ready to break longstanding patterns and build greater resilience, clarity, and fulfillment, I invite you to reach out.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space to slow down, ask questions, and begin building a sense of safety and trust. We’ll discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant personal, relational, or performance-related history. I’ll also share how I work and collaborate with you to determine what feels most supportive moving forward. There’s no pressure to “have it all figured out”—the first session is about understanding your needs and setting a thoughtful foundation for our work together.
