Great to meet you!

I appreciate your taking a moment to view my profile, and I hope you find the support you need! I'm Natalie, and I've been working in the mental health field for almost twenty years, with experience in community mental health, emergency psychiatric services, and programs that serve survivors of interpersonal violence and sexual assault.

My approach to therapy

I approach the therapeutic relationship with compassion, respect, and curiosity. I bring empathy, insight, and a non-judgmental stance into this relationship as three of my greatest strengths, and the work I do with a client is going to be guided by the needs of that client. I utilize techniques from modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and I approach each person with a strengths-based perspective that aligns with one of my core values -- every person has worth and deserves to be heard.

What you can expect from me

Some people come to therapy with a specific problem, and some people come with a lot to unpack. In our first session, we'll talk about you, your life, and what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about what you want from this experience, and how we might approach our work together. Growth and change can feel scary and overwhelming, and starting therapy is a huge step! I'll be honored to walk through it with you.
