Great to meet you!

I was born and raised in Seattle, though I received my PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Dakota. I have been in private practice since 2019. I am trained to treat a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and relationship issues. My passion is working with issues related to sexuality and sexual assault/abuse, and I practice from a culturally-informed Feminist therapy lens.

My approach to therapy

Though I work with clients of all ages and identities, some of my areas of expertise tend to affect women more frequently, such as sexual trauma and eating disorders. Whoever my client is, common themes in my work include: personal values, assertiveness and boundary-setting, and finding humor and meaning in all spheres of our lives. The types of therapy I use most often are Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am also trained in EMDR.

What you can expect from me

Therapy can be a wonderful place to find safety while healing; to learn new strategies for tackling life’s obstacles; and to talk through your choices with a caring advocate (that’s me!). You are the best judge of what’s right for you — your values, your dreams. My role is as a guide and a resource in helping your achieve those dreams.
