Great to meet you!

I'm Natalie. Maybe you're here because the same argument keeps starting over who forgot what, and it ends the same way every time. Maybe your teenager stopped talking to you back in March. Maybe you've been counting drinks and telling yourself the number is fine. Perhaps you're seeking counseling because something happened in your family that nobody has said out loud yet, or because you've been holding the whole house together and you're tired in a way sleep doesn't fix. For ten years I've sat with kids, couples, parents, and people sent to me by a judge. Different rooms, same first step: figuring out what easier would look like.

My approach to therapy

I talk like a person in the room with you. You'll hear my real reactions, my questions when I get lost, and credit for what you're already doing well. Some of my work happens outside the office, with horses, where people say things they can't say sitting on a couch. If something I'm doing isn't landing, tell me and we'll change it.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly you talking and me asking what brought you here now. Nothing to fill out on the couch. You leave with one small thing to try before the next one. Bring the version you haven't rehearsed. Call the office or send a message through the contact form, and we'll find a time this week or next.
