Great to meet you!

I am an open-minded, optimistic person who enjoys dancing and singing loudly. I love relaxing and watching good shows or movies as well as working in the garden.

Previously, I was a teacher for 10 years. Now, I am a school counselor in a middle school setting and provide therapy for adults virtually.

I attained my Master's in Counseling in 2016, and I started providing therapy to school aged children in 2020. I transitioned to providing therapy for adoptive/foster families and adults in 2021.

My approach to therapy

I really enjoy helping people reach their full potential and rediscover reasons to love themselves and others. Based on the person's needs, I may use a variety of modalities including CBT, humanistic therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, and person-centered therapy.

It's all about what's best for you. This is a time for you to work though understanding your emotions and thoughts. Therapy is a time for you to find clarity, and that's what I hope to help you do.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will get to know each other to help build rapport between us. I like to understand what you expect from therapy so we can begin to develop goals for you and your journey in therapy. I, also, want you to feel comfort in knowing that I am an open book, and whatever questions or concerns you may have, I’ll be there to help you process them and hopefully guide you to a resolution.
