Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve been carrying a lot on your own, feel stuck in patterns you don’t understand, or are exhausted from “holding it together” for everyone else. My role is to offer a space where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have everything figured out.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works primarily with adults and teens navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning on the outside but feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained on the inside. Others come in feeling unsure how they got to this point — they just know something doesn’t feel right anymore.

I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and respect for your pace, while also using evidence-based methods to help identify and shift the deeper patterns keeping you stuck. I believe meaningful, lasting change happens when you feel safe, understood, and supported — and when therapy gently addresses the root of what your nervous system has learned to do to survive.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based modalities like EMDR, parts work (IFS), and attachment-focused therapy to help you understand why certain patterns exist — and to create real, sustainable change rather than temporary relief.

Rather than just managing symptoms, we’ll work to uncover what your nervous system has learned to do to survive, and how those strategies may no longer be serving you. Together, we’ll slow things down, build emotional safety, and help your system experience relief instead of constant alertness or shutdown.

Clients often tell me therapy feels grounding and clarifying — not overwhelming. Over time, many notice they feel calmer in their body, more confident in their choices, and less reactive in relationships. The goal of our work is not just insight, but a felt sense of stability and change that carries into your daily life. I want you to feel that healing is possible and is happening in our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about creating safety and understanding, not fully diving into everything all at once. We’ll start by talking about what brought you in, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you hope might feel different in your life.

You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear story. We’ll go at a pace that feels manageable, and I’ll help guide the conversation so you’re not carrying it alone. You can expect a calm, supportive space where your experiences are taken seriously and met with empathy.

Many clients leave the first session feeling a sense of relief — like they’ve finally exhaled or put something heavy down. As we continue working together, I’ll draw from evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, parts work (IFS), and attachment-focused therapy to help address the deeper patterns keeping you stuck, not just the surface symptoms. My hope is that you walk away feeling supported, more grounded, and with a clearer sense that real, lasting change is possible.
