Natalie Zendejas

Hola soy Natalie a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated in 2017 and contrary to my title my experience has been primarily working with individuals. My education and work experience has paved the way in working with various disorders including psychosis, bipolar, depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder. I have a passion for Attachment Theory and Somatic Experiencing in order to repair attachment wounds that impact how you view yourself, the world, and your relationships with those closest to you. I also have experience working with various first responders.

My specialities include Somatic Experiencing, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I'm not here quickly diagnose you, but rather spend time getting to know factors that contributed in the development of you.

Our first session will be an assessment that will further review biological, psychological, and social factors that may be contributing to the reasons that bring you to therapy. Not only will I get to know you, but you will also get a sense for my therapeutic approach. I am gently direct, and you will get to see a bit of my personality with some humor. We will create goals that we will review periodically, and my goal for you is to get a sense of readiness to use the tools learned on your own as you continue your healing journey.
