Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified School Counselor with over 20 years of experience in education and more than 7 years of experience providing mental health counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical, creating a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. I use evidence-based approaches to help clients manage stress, better understand their emotions, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills. My goal is to empower each client with the insight and tools needed to feel more grounded, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and practical. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and free to be yourself without judgment. Together, we’ll work to better understand your emotions and patterns, navigate life’s challenges, and develop practical tools to manage stress, strengthen confidence, and build greater self-esteem. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and equipped to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin creating a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from counseling. I’ll take time to understand your unique story, strengths, challenges, and the areas of your life that may feel overwhelming right now. You can expect a supportive, judgment-free space where you can be open and honest at your own pace. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, goals, and practical tools that can help you feel more grounded and move toward meaningful change.
