Great to meet you!

I completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. I work with adolescents (age 15+) and adults. My experience includes working with substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mood disorders.

I recognize individualized approaches, and therapeutic alliance as the greatest means for change, and further utilize interventions informed by neuroscience and the mind-body connection. This is especially helpful in the treatment of trauma-related disorders.

My approach to therapy

I draw on treatment modalities including Internal Family Systems, ACT, neuroscience-informed CBT, SFBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Somatic practices. Additionally, I have been trained in other unique modalities such as Arenas for Change ( ARCH framework), which utilizes a narrative approach and integration of animals into clinical practice, as well as EMDR.

My goal is to help foster a nonjudgmental, open space with humor that also challenges clients when appropriate to facilitate healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy and any parts of your story that feel important. Building a strong therapeutic relationship takes time, and my goal is to create a supportive space while we begin exploring what works best for you.
