Great to meet you!

What I would want clients to know about me is that I understand how heavy life can feel when you are carrying too much for too long. I often work with moms, caregivers, children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, overwhelm, life transitions, and the pressure to keep showing up even when they feel emotionally exhausted. If you are a mom who feels like you are always running, always thinking about what someone else needs, and slowly losing touch with yourself, this can be a space to pause, breathe, and begin finding your way back to you.

I also bring many years of experience in education and school counseling, which helps me support children, teens, and families with a practical understanding of how home, school, relationships, and daily responsibilities can impact emotional well-being. My goal is not to help you chase perfection, but to help you build more balance, clarity, confidence, and peace in your everyday life. Whether you are trying to feel like yourself again or trying to support a child who is struggling, you do not have to figure it all out alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. Sessions with me often feel like a supportive conversation where we can talk honestly about what is happening in your life, what feels heavy, and what changes you are hoping to make. I use client-centered therapy, CBT, solution-focused strategies, and supportive reflection to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, patterns, and choices. When working with children, teens, and families, I also consider how school, home, relationships, and family dynamics may be impacting emotional well-being. My goal is to help you build tools that feel realistic and useful outside of session, not just during our time together. I believe therapy works best when it is grounded in your real life, your strengths, and the support you need to move forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, what brought you to therapy, and what has been feeling heavy or difficult lately. We will talk about what you have already tried, what support has helped in the past, and what you would like to feel different moving forward. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can show up as you are, without pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we will begin identifying your needs, your goals, and a starting plan for our work together. By the end of the session, you should have a better sense of what therapy with me feels like and whether we are a good fit. You do not have to come in with all the answers. You just have to take the first step and show up.
