Natasha Carew

As a doctorally prepared, dual board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and an Associate Professor of Nursing, I bring over 20 years of advanced practice nursing experience to every patient encounter. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), now Rutgers University, and have served on the nursing faculties of Rutgers University, the University of Pennsylvania, and currently Ramapo College of New Jersey, where I educate and mentor future nurses and nurse practitioners. My clinical experience spans primary care, critical care, geriatrics, and psychiatry, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the complex relationship between physical and mental health. My practice is dedicated exclusively to providing psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. While I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders, I also have extensive experience caring for individuals with ADHD, trauma-related disorders, grief and loss, chronic medical conditions, and the unique mental health needs of older adults.
