Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who believes there is value in understanding yourself beyond what can be seen on the surface. Sometimes what we are carrying did not begin with the moment we are currently struggling with. Our experiences, relationships, family dynamics, culture, and the ways we have learned to move through the world can all shape how we feel and respond. My work creates space for women to slow down, go within, and become more aware of the patterns, emotions, and experiences that continue to influence their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is reflective, collaborative, and rooted in helping you understand what is happening both around you and within you. I draw from Jungian, person-centered, narrative, trauma-informed, journaling, and solution-focused approaches. We may explore emotional triggers, recurring patterns, relationships, past experiences, and the parts of yourself that have been pushed aside, protected, or left unexplored. I am not here to tell you who to be or how to live your life. My role is to help you develop the awareness to recognize what is influencing you, make meaning of your experiences, and decide for yourself what you want to do with what you discover.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know you as a whole person, not just the reason you checked the box to start therapy. We will talk about what brought you in, what has been weighing on you, the experiences and relationships that have shaped you, and what you want for yourself. You do not have to come in with everything figured out or have the perfect words for what you are feeling. We can start with what you know, make room for what you don't know yet, and begin from there.
