Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) who works with adolescents, adults, and families navigating substance use, recovery, stress, and life transitions. I also support clients with co-occurring mental health challenges and family-related concerns. I’m bilingual in English and Haitian Creole, and I value providing culturally responsive care.

My style is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I focus on meeting clients where they are and helping them build on their strengths. I use practical, evidence-based approaches like motivational interviewing, coping skills, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention. For clients who want it, I also integrate faith-based support into treatment.

My goal is to create a safe space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported while working toward meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, real, and collaborative. I meet clients where they are—no judgment, no pressure, and no “figure it out already” vibes.

I use a strengths-based, person-centered style with practical tools clients can actually use in everyday life. I often draw from motivational interviewing, coping skills, psychoeducation, and recovery-focused strategies, and I support clients with substance use, stress, anxiety, life transitions, and family challenges. Faith-based support is available if desired.

My goal is simple: help you feel more grounded, more in control, and more confident in your next steps—one conversation at a time.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where we take time to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’re hoping to change, and what support feels most helpful for you right now.

We’ll also begin identifying initial goals together—whether that’s managing stress, supporting recovery, improving coping skills, or working through life challenges. The focus is on clarity, comfort, and creating a plan that feels realistic and achievable.

My goal in the first session is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clear sense of next steps.
