Our first session is about getting to know you — not just your struggles, but also your story, strengths, and what brings you to therapy right now. I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and heard.
We’ll start by talking about what’s been happening in your life and what you hope to gain from therapy. I may ask questions about your background, relationships, and what has worked or hasn’t worked for you in the past. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we’ll go at your pace.
I’ll also explain how I work as a therapist and what the process looks like moving forward. My style is direct yet compassionate, so you can expect honesty, curiosity, and genuine care as we begin to explore what’s been getting in the way of your peace or sense of purpose.
By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to leave feeling understood and hopeful, with a clearer idea of how therapy can support your growth and healing.
