Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Natasha Mardick, a Social Work Counselor passionate about supporting children, teens, and families through life’s challenges. My background includes working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, behavioral concerns, trauma, self-esteem struggles, and family transitions. I take a humanistic, child-centered approach to therapy and strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to express themselves and grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is humanistic, collaborative, and client-centered, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where children, teens, and families feel comfortable being themselves. I believe each client has unique strengths and the ability to grow when provided with empathy, understanding, and the right support.

I incorporate CBT and attachment-based techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthy coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and stronger relationships. I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, grief, trauma, behavioral challenges, and family transitions.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and comfortable environment during the first session. My goal is to help children, teens, and families feel safe, heard, and understood while we begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. During this session, we will discuss current concerns, strengths, goals for therapy, and any important background information. For younger children, I may incorporate play, creative activities, or conversation in a relaxed way to help them feel more comfortable. I also encourage collaboration with parents and caregivers to better understand the child’s needs and to create goals that support emotional growth, healthy coping skills, and overall well-being.
