Great to meet you!

I’m Natasha Montoya, a double board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner providing tele-psychiatric care for adults in Arizona and Washington.

My work centers on helping people make sense of what they’re experiencing. I integrate careful medication management with meaningful therapeutic conversation, so treatment decisions are informed by context — not just symptoms.

Rather than separating therapy from prescribing, sessions are designed to hold both. We look at stress patterns, nervous system responses, life transitions, and the internal narratives that shape your experience — alongside thoughtful medication decisions when appropriate.

I often work with adults who are highly capable and responsible, yet internally overwhelmed — navigating anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, or periods of change.

I believe growth remains possible at any stage of life when care is steady, clear, and collaborative.

My approach to therapy

Psychiatric care should feel steady, collaborative, and thoughtful — not rushed or impersonal.

Treatment begins with listening. Before making decisions, I take time to understand the fuller picture: your stress load, personal history, biology, relationships, and what matters most to you. Care is shaped from there.

Sessions integrate medication review with meaningful therapeutic work, so decisions are informed by context rather than symptoms alone. Medication is considered carefully and used conservatively when appropriate — not as a shortcut, but as one tool among many.

Alongside medication management, I draw from trauma-informed principles, cognitive and behavioral frameworks, nervous system regulation strategies, and exploration of purpose and belonging.

The goal is not simply symptom relief. It is steadiness, clarity, and functioning that can be sustained over time.

Care remains collaborative. We reassess as life shifts, adjust when needed, and move forward thoughtfully.

You are not reduced to a diagnosis. You are supported as a whole person.
