My approach to therapy

We specialize in applied clinical psychophysiology, integrating cognitive-behavioral approaches with applied neuroscience.

Our practice utilizes brain imaging techniques, including QEEG, ERP, and raw EEG assessment. We offer neurofeedback (brain training) with 2 and 4 channels, as well as SW Loreta QEEG training (19-channel coherence training) and biofeedback/HRV training. Our neuromodulation interventions are tailored to your specific needs, based on your individual brain maps. We provide photo biomodulation, transcranial alternating and direct current stimulation, brown and pink noise, pulsed electromagnetic fields, and LENS.

At BHCM, we work with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), epilepsy, ADD & ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder ODD, OCD, learning disorders, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, substance abuse, ED, Long Covid, cognitive decline, TBI

For clients who haven't benefited from multiple medications, pinpointing the underlying causes of symptoms becomes essential. Conventional treatments often miss neurological patterns that could illuminate complex mental health challenges. Using EEG and qEEG brain mapping, we can now link symptoms to specific brain activity.

What you can expect from me

Clients working with us at Brain Health Center Miami and Mental Health and Art Therapy LLC can expect a deeply individualized, science-based, and empowering experience.

What clients typically take away from their sessions:

1. A Clearer Understanding of Their Brain and Mind Through advanced brain imaging such as QEEG, ERP, and raw EEG, clients receive visual, tangible insights into their brain function. We remove the guesswork behind symptoms, providing a clear "map" to guide treatment, much like running a diagnostic scan for a car.

2. Personalized, Brain-Based Treatment Plans We do not believe in "one-size-fits-all" solutions. Every intervention is tailored — from 2- and 4-channel neurofeedback for focus and mood, to 19-channel SW Loreta coherence training for deep network regulation, to neuromodulation therapies like photobiomodulation, tDCS/tACS, PEMF, and LENS. Treatment is matched precisely to your brain’s needs — not just a label or diagnosis.

3. Integration of Mental Health and Applied Neuroscience Clients benefit from the combination of cognitive-behavioral techniques with cutting-edge neuromodulation. This work goes beyond coping strategies to retrain the nervous system itself, helping with:

  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder
  • Schizophrenia
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD
  • Learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia)
  • Substance use recovery
  • Cognitive decline, TBI, and Long COVID brain fog
  • Epilepsy symptom management

As brain regulation improves, clients often notice enhanced emotional resilience, focus, cognitive performance, and a better quality of life — often reducing reliance on medication alone.
