Great to meet you!

With over 17 years of experience working with at-risk youth, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, focusing on empathy, respect, and collaboration to create a safe and supportive environment for growth. I am passionate about helping others build resilience, develop life skills, and achieve positive, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to working with clients is grounded in person-centered therapy, emphasizing empathy, trust, and unconditional positive regard. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and valued. By actively listening and meeting each individual where they are, I help them explore their strengths, set achievable goals, and develop effective coping strategies. My goal is to help clients develop the confidence and tools they need to navigate challenges and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and start building a comfortable, trusting connection. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you’d like to work on, and what you hope to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—you can go at your own pace.

I’ll also explain how the process works, answer any questions you have, and work with you to set some goals for our time together. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful about the path ahead.
