Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Nathalie Bailey, LMHC, PMHNP-BC. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 15+ years of behavioral health and nursing experience, primarily in outpatient and community-based settings. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and evidence-based medication management across the lifespan, including support for dual diagnosis (mental health conditions alongside substance use) and psychiatric concerns complicated by medical conditions.

My background includes direct clinical care as well as leadership roles in emergency services and care coordination, so I’m very familiar with crisis intervention, system navigation, and transitions of care.

My approach to therapy

You can expect a provider who is warm, direct, and highly collaborative. I take time to understand what you’re experiencing, what matters most to you, and what you want to be different—not just symptom checklists. I’ll explain my clinical thinking in clear language, offer options (including benefits/risks), and we’ll make decisions together so you feel informed and supported.

I’m also very mindful of the real-world factors that affect mental health—stress, sleep, relationships, medical issues, access to resources, and safety. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, my goal is for you to leave each visit with a plan that feels grounded, practical, and personalized.

What you can expect from me

We start with a comprehensive initial evaluation where I gather your history (symptoms, timeline, prior treatments, medical factors, and current medications), clarify diagnoses, and complete a thoughtful risk and safety assessment. We then identify your goals and build an individualized plan that may include medication, psychoeducation, harm-reduction strategies when relevant, and coordination with therapy and other supports.

Follow-ups are structured and goal-oriented: we review what’s improving, what’s still challenging, and any side effects or concerns. If medication is part of your care, I monitor effectiveness and tolerability closely and adjust thoughtfully over time.
