Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and the founder of InnerGrowth Psychiatry and Wellness, where I provide compassionate, evidence-based care through both medication management and psychotherapy. My approach is rooted in the belief that healing is deeply personal, and each individual deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment.

I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stress, and life transitions. I also support individuals navigating relationship challenges, social anxiety, and feelings of loneliness. My style is collaborative and patient-centered, I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Instead, I work closely with you to understand your unique experiences, goals, and values, and we build a treatment plan together that feels right for you.

Clients often describe me as warm, attentive, and easy to talk to. I create a safe and supportive space where you can be open and honest, whether you’re seeking clarity, emotional healing, or personal growth. I integrate therapeutic techniques with thoughtful medication management when appropriate, ensuring that care is both holistic and effective.

My strength lies in my ability to balance clinical expertise with genuine human connection. I am deeply committed to helping you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Taking the first step toward mental wellness can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, patient-centered, and holistic. I take the time to truly understand each person’s experiences, concerns, and goals, recognizing that no two individuals are the same. Treatment is not one-size-fits-all; together, we create a personalized plan that may include psychotherapy, medication management, or a combination of both.

I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. My style is warm and attentive, while still grounded in evidence-based practices. I focus not only on symptom relief, but also on helping clients build insight, develop healthy coping strategies, and achieve long-term emotional wellness.

Ultimately, my goal is to empower clients to feel more in control of their mental health and to support them in creating a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment during their first session. This initial visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where I take the time to understand your concerns, symptoms, history, and what’s bringing you in at this point in your life.

We’ll discuss your mental health history, medical background, current stressors, and any goals you have for treatment. I’ll also ask questions to get a clearer picture of your overall well-being so we can identify the best path forward.

If appropriate, we may discuss treatment options, including therapy, lifestyle changes, and/or medication. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, share your preferences, and be actively involved in creating your care plan.

My goal for the first session is for you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable, while leaving with clarity about next steps and a plan that feels right for you.
