I started off as an elementary school counselor creating programs for gifted kids.

10 years provided & supervised crisis services for all ages which included depression, self-injury, & domestic violence.

Private practice since 2017 focused on teens & adults. Primarily emotional regulation, BPD traits, and various trauma including sexual assault. (Trauma certified CCTP).

Significant experience with SA / DV / female sexual perpetrators, dissociation, anxiety, & existential concerns.

I never want to be the Wizard of Oz performing magic from behind a curtain. I always try to give a picture of what I'm doing and why because it's part of my role to educate you on how to treat yourself.

I'm also very conscious of the concept of consent in treatment -- you decide your goals, not your therapist. I merely help you get there. Also, you have a right to keep whatever you want to yourself, I just want to ease you into becoming capable and comfortable enough to share when you need to.

I hope all my clients are able to take away a sense of increased awareness of what they're doing, to pick a direction, and the ability to steer their lives intentionally.
