Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, who has worked with individuals, couples, and students in agency, private practice and university settings. I obtained a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary (CACREP accredited program) and an undergraduate degree in political science.

I am committed to integrating sound clinical techniques with a person-centered approach that honors both the client’s immediate needs and the deeper elements in-play that drive human behavior. My areas of strength include anxiety, depression, trauma, men’s issues, attachment issues, sexual compulsivity, identify formation, life-transition, issues with infertility and couple’s work. I am passionate about fostering a felt sense of wholeness and well-being in the clients I work with, where they are empowered to create change in their own lives, relationships, and communities.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrated approach to therapy, meaning clients may have different needs based on the presenting issue, their background, and the formative experiences that influence how they present in my office.

I have been trained in, and primarily guided by, Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic and Trauma Informed approaches to therapy.

What you can expect from me

I do my best to collaboratively partner with clients in their own growth and healing. In other words, they are responsible for their own change, and I do my best to provide insight, guidance, and challenge where necessary. Clients should expect warmth, empowerment, patience and helpful direction in our sessions together.
