Great to meet you!

When dealing with changes in life or difficulties that attempt to define us, we often try to solve these problems in isolation. Having someone to talk to—in a non-judgmental and empathetic setting—allows us to sort through our thoughts and emotions in an environment primed for growth. Nathan (he/him/his) is a psychotherapist who utilizes proven cognitive, behavioral, and existential methods to conduct effective therapy. With training and experience in AEDP, CBT, ACT, DBT, and Logotherapy, he is qualified and skilled at collaborating with clients to deliver the most effective therapy approach to each individual.

Nathan has over a dozen years of professional experience in various leadership and support roles. He holds his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado and his MBA from the University of Denver. He is fully licensed in the state of New York as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is a dedicated space for refinement and self-discovery. Much like a sculptor, we can use the therapeutic process to shape our life by strengthening our mental health.

In this partnership, you are the expert of your life and you choose how you want it to look going forward. I will serve you as your collaborator, providing the specialized tools and perspective necessary to help you create the most authentic, beautiful, and meaningful life imaginable.

Together, we can chisel away obstacles, polish your strengths, repair the cracks that emerge over time, and take time to admire all that’s been created.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a "getting to know you" period where we discuss your history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve. The first session will allow you to assess if I'm the right fit for you. If you feel it’s not quite the right match, I'll help you find the right therapist—no justification required!
