Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida, recognized for my expertise as an Adoption Competent therapist and fluency in multiple languages. With dual Master’s degrees in Counseling and Special Education, I bring over 20 years of comprehensive experience in therapeutic interventions and educational support. My expertise spans Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, Attachment Theory, Play Therapy, anger management, and youth education. I have a strong background in collaborating with agencies and community outreach programs. Committed to fostering resilience and healing, I specialize in supporting individuals with mental illness, as well as at-risk youth and families from diverse cultural and racial backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

I am a person-centered therapist with a warm, open-minded, and empowering approach. One of my key strengths is my ability to establish therapeutic rapport quickly through active listening and genuine connection.

Throughout my career, I have specialized in providing therapeutic services to individuals with developmental disabilities and a wide range of diagnoses, including Autism, Depression, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Adjustment Disorder. I utilize trauma-informed interventions tailored for individuals who have experienced trauma, including maltreatment, abuse, neglect, multiple home placements, and violence.

I take a proactive approach to treatment planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the social, educational, and psychological well-being of clients, parents, educators, and social service professionals. My commitment to culturally sensitive and comprehensive care ensures that each individual receives the personalized support they need to thrive.
