Great to meet you!

For over 1 year, I have been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. Overall, I have 14+ years of experience working in the mental health field in various capacities. I’ve supported individuals and families during some of their most difficult and vulnerable moments. Because of that, I deeply respect the courage it takes to ask for help.

Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you're used to being the strong one for everyone else. I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate things alone.

Clients often describe me as calm, grounded, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and never judged. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. No matter what brings you in, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative. You are the expert on your life — I’m here to help guide, support, and offer tools that help you better understand patterns, manage emotions, and create meaningful change.

My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed. I draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. In simple terms, that means we’ll work together to explore how your thoughts, emotions, and experiences connect — and develop practical strategies you can use in real life.

I also look at the bigger picture. Our family experiences, cultural background, relationships, and stressors all play a role in how we cope. Together, we’ll identify strengths you may not even realize you have and build on them.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting comfortable and starting a conversation. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you to therapy right now, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’d like to see change. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we go at your pace. My goal is for you to feel heard and supported from the very beginning.

By the end of our first session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how we’ll work together and some initial direction on next steps. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling hopeful and reassured that change is possible.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey. Therapy is an investment in yourself, and you deserve support that feels both safe and empowering. When you’re ready, reach out

— I look forward to connecting with you.
