Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Nava Narayani. I'm a holistic psychotherapist with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health and a concentration in Buddhist Psychology and Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University, with additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), marriage & family therapy, somatic therapy, and attachment theory. I came to this work through my own healing journey including recovery from sexual trauma, anxiety, and depression, which led me to travel the world seeking wisdom from diverse healing traditions before returning to the US to pursue graduate training that honored both the science of psychology and the depth of contemplative practice. Clients often tell me they feel genuinely seen in our work together, and I believe that's because I show up with both clinical skill and lived, embodied understanding of the human experience. My style is gentle yet direct, with warmth and empowerment to encourage your growth.

My approach to therapy

I work with couples and individuals, specializing in premarital counseling, conflict resolution, emotional attunement, intimacy and sexual concerns, conscious uncoupling, sexual trauma, psychedelic integration, identity development, and empowerment. I draw on EFT, somatic therapy, attachment theory, mindfulness, and contemplative psychotherapy to help clients understand the patterns keeping them stuck and build something more nourishing in their place. I see you as a whole body processing system, not just a mind, and I work collaboratively with you to define goals, move at your pace, and stay curious about what lies beneath the surface. I warmly welcome LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, consensually non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships, and clients of all cultural and spiritual backgrounds, and I see clients online across Colorado.

What you can expect from me

Improve communication and intimacy in relationships.

Increase resiliency and vulnerable authenticity in living.

Clearer boundary setting.

Living life more in alignment with oneself.

Decrease stress, anxiety, or depression symptoms.
