Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, and I have really wanted to build

something of my own for a long time. Going into private practice was not an impulsive decision. It is something I have thought about carefully, and I am committed to making it work well for the people I work with. My background includes clinical work with adults and families

across a range of settings from psychiatric hospitals, to non profits and private practice. I am based in the Coachella Valley and serve clients throughout

California via telehealth. I am also in the process of establishing an in-person office here in the

valley, because I know how hard it can be to find consistent, quality mental health care locally.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I also work with people dealing with chronic stress, relationship challenges, and the kind of emotional weight that builds up when life keeps asking more of you than you feel you have to give. I have a

particular connection to working with Latino and bicultural clients, single parents, and people who are navigating coparenting and the identity shifts that come with it.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a collaboration. My training is rooted in Dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy trauma Focused and I have received specialized training in Exposure response prevention. I draw on those frameworks to help clients understand what is driving their patterns and build skills that are actually usable outside of the session. I do not apply the same method to everyone. Different concerns call for different tools, and part of my job is figuring out what is going to be most helpful for you specifically. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma responses, mood dysregulation, and relationship issues. I also address acculturation stress, identity, and the kinds of transitions that shift how you see yourself and your life. I am very warmth and empowering throughout the work we do together.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other. I will ask about what has been going on,what you have already tried, and what you are hoping to get out of the process. You do not need to have a clear answer to that last question. That is something we can figure out together. I want the first session to feel like a real conversation. By the end, you will have a sense of whether this feels like a good fit, and I will have a clearer picture of how I can actually

help. I offer a free 15-minute consultation if you want to connect before scheduling. Reach out

when you are ready. Remember that you don't need to be going through a crisis In order to seek help.
