Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing evidence-based psychiatric care through secure telehealth services. I am licensed in Ohio and board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and I work with adolescents and adults seeking accessible, professional mental health care.

With over 20 years of healthcare experience, I specialize in psychiatric medication management and the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD (treatment with non-stimulant medication), bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, mood disorders and related conditions.

My approach is patient-centered and collaborative, emphasizing shared decision-making, careful assessment, and individualized treatment planning.

Telehealth allows me to provide consistent, high-quality care while reducing common barriers such as travel, long wait times, and scheduling challenges. I take time to listen, explain treatment options clearly, and ensure patients feel informed and supported throughout their care.

I am committed to creating a respectful, judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and goals. Whether you are new to mental health treatment or continuing care, I focus on improving symptoms, supporting long-term stability, and enhancing overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is holistic, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe the most effective treatment happens when patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their care.

I take time to understand the whole person—not just symptoms. This includes medical history, life experiences, stressors, strengths, and personal goals. Together, we review treatment options and create an individualized plan that aligns with your needs and preferences.

When medication is part of treatment, I focus on careful assessment, clear education, and ongoing monitoring. I explain options in a straightforward way, discuss benefits and potential side effects, and make adjustments thoughtfully based on your response and comfort level.

I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where questions are encouraged and communication is open. My goal is to empower you with knowledge, support long-term stability, and help you build the tools needed to improve your mental health and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is focused on understanding you, your concerns, and your goals for treatment. We’ll begin with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, reviewing your symptoms, medical and mental health history, current medications, and any questions or concerns you may have.

I take time to listen carefully and create a judgment-free, supportive environment. Together, we’ll discuss possible diagnoses, treatment options, and whether medication may be appropriate. If medication is recommended, I will explain the purpose, expected benefits, potential side effects, and alternatives so you can make informed decisions about your care.

You’ll never be rushed, and you are encouraged to ask questions and share what matters most to you. The goal of the first visit is to establish clarity, build trust, and develop an individualized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and preferences.

Follow-up visits focus on monitoring progress, adjusting treatment as needed, and supporting your long-term mental health and well-being.
