Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Neacol Robinson, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in the treatment and management of depression, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, and anxiety disorders, with experience treating OCD, women’s mental health concerns, geriatric psychiatry, and psychotic disorders. I have over four years of outpatient experience and two years of inpatient psychiatric experience, allowing me to care for individuals across the full spectrum of mental health acuity. My approach to treatment is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, with a focus on helping clients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their care. I provide individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and practical strategies to improve emotional wellness and daily functioning. My goal is to create a safe, respectful environment where clients can work towards healing, stability, and a better quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is centered on compassion, collaboration, and individualized treatment. I believe that effective psychiatric care begins with creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment. I recognize that each person’s journey is unique and requires a personalized approach. I work closely with clients to develop treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, incorporating medication management, supportive therapy, education, and practical coping strategies to promote emotional wellness and stability.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me includes a comprehensive initial psychiatric evaluation designed to gain a clear understanding of your mental health needs, concerns, symptoms, and personal history. During this appointment, we will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what has brought you to treatment, and exploring factors that may be impacting your emotional well-being and daily functioning. I also focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where trust and open communication can begin to develop.
