Great to meet you!

If you've been carrying the weight of anxiety, grief, or addiction for longer than you'd like to admit, you're not alone, and you don't have to keep carrying it by yourself. After 26 years working alongside people through some of life's most difficult seasons, I've seen that healing is possible, no matter how far away it feels right now. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating mental health struggles, substance use and recovery, trauma, relationship strain, parenting challenges, and the weight of major life changes. As a bilingual therapist who speaks Spanish, I'm especially honored to work with the Latino community and anyone who wants to be met in their full cultural identity. With dual licensure in both social work and substance abuse counseling, I can support you on both fronts - because often they're not separate.

My approach to therapy

My approach starts with believing you already have strengths worth building on. I blend evidence-based methods - including CBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused therapy - in ways that fit your specific situation rather than following a rigid script. For clients navigating recovery, I draw on a 12-step framework as well. I take a whole-person perspective, because what's happening in your relationships, your body, and your environment all shapes how you feel.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about you telling your story at whatever pace feels right. I'll ask some questions to understand what's brought you here and what you're hoping for, but there's no pressure to have it all figured out. Many clients come in feeling nervous or unsure - that's completely normal. By the end, we'll have a sense of where to start together. I offer evening telehealth appointments so you can show up from

wherever feels most comfortable. If you'd prefer to speak in Spanish, we can do that too. Yo hablo español.
