Great to meet you!

I come to this work with a deep respect for the complexity of human experience and the many ways people make meaning in their lives. Being a psychologist is a role I hold with great care and responsibility. My perspective as a therapist has been shaped not only by formal training, but by the communities I’ve belonged to and the experiences that have influenced how I understand healing and connection.

My approach to therapy

Outside of traditional clinical spaces, much of my personal growth has unfolded within communities centered around movement, mindfulness, and spirituality. My journey through yoga, fitness, and contemplative practices introduced me to ways of understanding the body not just as something we inhabit, but as something that carries memory, emotion, and wisdom.

Through these experiences, I began to see healing as something that extends beyond the individual. Our identities, struggles, and strengths are shaped by the cultures we belong to, the relationships we hold, and the environments that surround us. Therapy, to me, is not simply about addressing symptoms; it is about understanding the larger story of a person.

What you can expect from me

I aim to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel emotionally held and understood. Together, we set goals focused on increasing emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience, improving relationships and communication, reducing anxiety and distress, and fostering a deeper sense of presence and balance in daily life. My work emphasizes both insight and practical skill-building so clients can experience meaningful, sustainable change.

In my personal life, I am drawn to nature, movement, learning, and creativity. I enjoy reading and journaling, practicing yoga, dancing, traveling, and engaging in different forms of creative expression. These practices continue to ground me and serve as ongoing avenues for reflection, curiosity, and personal growth.
