Welcome - As an LCSW, I offer support and guidance in a safe space for you to explore challenges, heal, and grow. Whether dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, or improving well-being, I'm here to help. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and understanding. Other qualities about me that I feel are important are I’m very open-minded, use humor in my practice and I’ve sat in the patient’s seat before. I hope to help you understand you are not alone.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I began my career in 2000 as a social work now I’ve practiced as a masters prepared psychotherapist since 2008. I have experience in many different social work settings - from providing outpatient therapy; to working in local hospitals, in patient adult and gero psych units; to working within a state correctional facilities. All of which have given me a unique perspective on how we all struggle with our mental health from time to time and we all need help as we hurt, grow and heal.

What you can expect from our first session

You take away from sessions with me will be, you'll gain practical tools to manage thoughts and behaviors effectively. We'll identify and challenge negative thought patterns contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or low mood. You'll deepen your understanding of the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, empowering you to make lasting improvements.
