Great to meet you!

In my approach to counseling I like to use an eclectic style and use techniques and ideas from multiple counseling perspectives. I mostly focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Trauma Focused theories and materials among others. I also like to keep the human element of therapy active by allowing for humor and conversation to assist in the forming of a good relationship.

My approach to therapy

Each client I work with will establish their own goals and treatment plan collaboratively with me in order to maintain treatment on the things that are most important to them. This allows individuals to not only work towards the things that they prioritize in their own life, but gain new knowledge about themselves, change unhelpful behaviors and thinking patterns, and establish healthier habits in their lives.

What you can expect from me

I hope clients can take away new knowledge of skills and practical ways to implement those skill into their own lives when leaving each session.
