Great to meet you!

I hold a Doctorate in Psychology, and have worked in mental health since 1999. My work has been with adults, children and adolescents. I have met and effectively worked with patients in settings of all sort, including campus and community settings, day treatment, inpatient, outpatient, chemical dependency, residential programs and even pet-therapy.

My approach to therapy

My graduate training focused on brief-psychodynamic, interpersonal & cognitive behavioral therapies. I also have skills in mindfulness, motivational interviewing & other approaches. Together we’ll set goals to measure your progress & comfort with our work, however, how we proceed in therapy will depend greatly on you: your personal strengths, challenges, needs & desires, along with experiences & preferences. Regardless how we proceed your treatment will be based on best evidence-based practices.

What you can expect from me

Making the decision to enter therapy is a uniquely personal choice, and as such each person’s treatment must be tailored to their individual needs, strengths, challenges and history. We will work collaboratively to clarify your goals and the best approach to address that which is keeping you from a happy and productive life.
