Great to meet you!

My name is Neoshua Butler, and I love working with people who are looking to elevate and change their lives. As a therapist, I assist in the building of healthy self-esteem and self-worth, thus, assisting in the cultivation of positive relationships, whether intrapersonal (with self), romantic, or familial.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Through my work I have learned how creating a space where clients are heard and respected even if it is not something I have experienced. I utilize evidence-based treatments such as including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Strength-Based, Person-Centered, and Solution Focused Therapy approaches, I engage with clients with the intent to facilitate growth and achievement of their identified goals.

What you can expect from our first session

When working with clients, the goal is to facilitate the client’s growth or change process—which means to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. This is an integral part of the client engagement, which must be established in the early phase of the relationship. The goal is to create space where clients become comfortable with vulnerability to ensure growth and transformation for my clients.
