Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned a BA Degree in Psychology from the UNC at Chapel Hill and a Master’s Degree in Prof Counseling from Liberty University. I am a compassionate and affirming therapist that provides a judgement-free space for clients to express themselves and to achieve their goals. My approach is based on the belief that clients are in charge of their counseling experience. I have experience supporting clients with depression, anxiety, grief and low-self esteem.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work from an integrated “tool kit” catering to needs of each client. I have a cognitive behavioral/social learning perspective and I use a variety of evidence based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, person-centered and mindfulness.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients can expect to experience a safe, non-judgmental space to share and explore their thoughts and feelings. We will work hard, maybe laugh a little bit and explore life’s challenges. I believe that you are the expert of your life and I am here to listen, support and guide you with an unbiased perspective.
