Great to meet you!

I’ve spent nearly 20 years working as a 911 dispatcher, which has given me a unique perspective on how stress and crisis can shape our lives. In 2020, I followed my passion for helping others in a new way and earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Buena Vista University in 2022.

Since then, I’ve worked with adults, couples, and teens through telemental health. I specialize in trauma, adult ADHD, and relational problem-solving, and I enjoy helping clients find practical ways to manage challenges, improve communication, and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-tailored and person-centered, meaning I focus on each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I believe that no two people are the same, so I adapt my methods to fit what works best for each client. I often incorporate creativity and a solution-focused perspective to help clients identify practical steps toward growth and positive change. Together, we’ll work to build insight, find balance, and create meaningful progress at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll spend time getting to know you, what brought you to therapy, what you’d like to accomplish, and what you hope the process will look like. We’ll also talk about the kinds of approaches or techniques that fit best with your unique personality and preferences. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and understood as we begin working together toward your personal goals.
