Great to meet you!

I work with adolescents, adults, Veterans, and families navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress management, substance use, and emotional conflict.

I have a particular passion for supporting children and families healing from trauma and disrupted attachment. I have extensive experience providing attachment-focused therapy for adopted children, children in foster care, and their caregivers — working alongside families to strengthen emotional bonds, improve communication, build trust, and address behavioral concerns.

With more than 20 years of experience, I've worked across private practice, community-based mental health, managed care, substance abuse treatment, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. I bring warmth and steady expertise to every stage of the healing process.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in deep respect for how early experiences shape emotional development and relationships. I use family-centered interventions to create a therapeutic space where healing, bonding, and connection can take root. My work focuses on fostering resilience, emotional regulation, and lasting, positive change — for children, teens, and the families who love them.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, judgment-free space where we get to know each other. I'll take time to understand what brings you in, what matters most to you, and what you're hoping to gain from our work together. There's no pressure — we move at your pace. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of the path forward.
