Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where they can openly discuss their concerns. I understand that seeking mental health treatment can be difficult, and I strive to build trusting relationships through empathy, respect, and active listening.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe in treating the whole person rather than just symptoms. I work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and lifestyle. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with education, supportive therapy, and practical coping strategies to promote lasting wellness.

Clients can expect me to be compassionate, approachable, and dedicated to helping them navigate life's challenges while empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

I provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care that combines evidence-based treatment with a holistic understanding of each individual's needs. I strive to build trusting relationships, promote collaboration in treatment decisions, and empower patients to achieve their mental health goals through personalized care, education, and ongoing support.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a comprehensive and welcoming assessment focused on understanding their unique experiences, concerns, and goals for treatment. We will discuss current symptoms, mental health history, medical history, medications, family history, lifestyle factors, and any challenges that may be affecting overall well-being.

I believe that establishing a strong therapeutic relationship is an important part of the treatment process, so the first appointment is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions, share their expectations, and discuss what they hope to achieve through care. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapeutic interventions, lifestyle recommendations, or referrals when appropriate.

Most importantly, clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their care.
