Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Legshe, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor, working with adults, adolescents, and couples. I have strong interest in clinical applications of mindfulness, compassion and mind-training practices.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take an active and empathetic approach to psychotherapy by establishing mutually agreed upon therapeutic goals with my clients and providing a comfortable and collaborative space to discuss, explore and address issues. My therapy style is rooted in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Ego Psychology, Mind-Training and Compassion and Insight-Based therapies which I utilize to best meet the needs of my clients.

What you can expect from our first session

With active collaboration, I humbly support my clients to identify and achieve their goals by drawing on their unique individual strengths and enchancing their full potentialities. Clients' self-awareness and insights will be sparked to tap into their natural abilities to navigate obstables and make positive changes.
