Great to meet you!

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in Virginia, DC, and Maryland, with experience supporting people through everything from everyday stress and life transitions to more acute or crisis-related challenges. My background in both outpatient and higher-acuity settings allows me to meet you with steadiness, care, and clinical insight, wherever you are right now. I take a thoughtful, culturally responsive approach and focus on creating a space where you feel respected, understood, and safe to be yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and client-centered, grounded in helping you feel supported and actively involved in your own growth. I believe meaningful change happens when we take time to understand your experiences, clarify what matters most to you, and build practical tools you can use in everyday life. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, tailoring our work to your unique needs, strengths, and background. Our sessions balance insight with action—so you not only process what you’re going through, but also feel more confident navigating it.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance to slow down and talk through what’s been bringing you in. I’ll take time to understand your concerns, your experiences, and what you’re hoping for moving forward. It’s a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and exploring what would feel most helpful, so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and a foundation for the work ahead.
