Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience in the mental health field, supporting young adults, adults, older adults, and families through life's challenges and transitions. My work in schools, community-based programs, and mental health settings has given me the opportunity to support people from many different backgrounds and life experiences.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, identity exploration, and stress management. I am especially passionate about serving diverse and underserved communities and have spent much of my career advocating for Vietnamese individuals and families who may face unique barriers to accessing mental health care.

I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest with themselves and supported enough to take action. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and empowered to move toward the life you want to build.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about problems. Together, we'll explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be contributing to the challenges you're facing today while also developing practical tools to help you create meaningful change.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I tailor therapy to each individual because no two people have the same story, strengths, or goals.

I strive to balance support with gentle challenge, helping clients deepen their self-awareness, build resilience, and make lasting changes that align with their values.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, important life experiences, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

You can expect a conversation that is supportive, thoughtful, and judgment-free. I take time to understand the full picture of your experiences rather than focusing only on symptoms. By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and more confident about the path forward.

You don't need to have all the answers before starting therapy. We'll work together to better understand what's getting in the way and identify meaningful next steps toward healing and growth.
