Great to meet you!

Life's a piece of work, ain't it?! Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor that believes in the power of connection to change lives. I completed my Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston and since have worked with adolescents and adults growing through significant life changes. I have previously worked in Adult and Juvenile Forensics (incarcerated persons), in private practice, and as the Clinical Director of a mental health company.

My approach to therapy

I often consider myself to be a “homegirl therapist;” I will cheer you on in all your accomplishments, and give it to you straight when you're ignoring avenues for growth. I show up as my true self and expect you to do the same! I'll push you to grow while embracing where you are in the now. Small steps lead to big changes.

What you can expect from me

In our first session I will tell you a bit about me, as i can't expect you to tell me your life if you don't feel safe enough to do so. We will discuss limits of confidentiality, then go over your history and how it's lead to you seeking therapy in the now. I will never tell you what to do. What I will do, though, is help you figure out what you want and how to get it. We will talk through your habits and determine where those behaviors originated from. Once we understand them, we will make a plan together for change.
