Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Nia Ross, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of HealingwithNia, LLC. I help adults and young adults navigate anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress with compassion, authenticity, and evidence based care.

With experience in psychiatric hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, community mental health, residential treatment, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, I’ve worked alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of life challenges. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

I believe healing is about more than managing symptoms. Together, we’ll build practical tools, strengthen your resilience, and help you reconnect with the version of yourself you’ve been working toward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, holistic, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, strengths based practices, Solution Focused Therapy, and systems theory to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and environment influence your overall well being.

Rather than focusing only on what’s wrong, we’ll identify your strengths, build healthy coping skills, and create realistic goals that support lasting change. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, relationship concerns, or major life transitions, we’ll work together at a pace that feels safe and meaningful for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your current concerns, review your personal history, and identify the goals you’d like to achieve.

My priority is creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly without feeling rushed or pressured. Together, we’ll begin developing a plan that fits your needs and helps you feel more confident about your healing journey. My hope is that you’ll leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and encouraged about the work we’ll do together.
